The following Romances by the Russian composer Vladimir ENCKE (1908-1987) have been premiered outside Russia and in France at a private concert given at the Centre Chostakovitch, Paris, on October 22, 2011 (a public rehearsal has been recorded on October 21, 2011). The Lied Hinüber wall' ich had never been performed previously. No work by the composer had been featured in a concert programme since his death.
